The Myers....

What started off foggy and cold turned out to be a beautiful day! I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family this weekend, and after talking found out I may have met Miss Stacey by chance as a child... funny how life leads us in circles. The last day of my fall sessions and what a wonderful way to end it, thank you for enduring the cold and wet weather. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Spunk....

This little girl has a lot of it! Turning 6 years old definitely a cutie and definitely a tomboy!!! Dress in all we could barley keep her out of the trees and off the bars. You may remember her and her brother from last month, now its her turn... with a new addition to the family (little indigo- puppy) they were ready for round two. So glad we got the whole family in this time... hope you enjoy, Happy Birthday Genavieve! :)

Tickles & Giggles...

How do you get a two year old to smile for the camera.... tickles of course. Big sister sure knew how to do that!! :) A few little tickles and the giggles were flowing. It was a pleasure spending the morning in the park with all of you, I'm so glad I had the chance to meet you and your family. Hope you enjoy your little sneak peek!

Good Friends...

I have known this girl for almost 16 years now.... Wow!!! I can't believe it has been that long, and I can't believe we are getting that old! :) I have been blessed to have such a wonderful friend in my life. Graduations, jobs, weddings, babies... we have just about been through everything together. It brings me so much joy to see you so happy. You are a wonderful friend, mother & wife. I am grateful for all the years and memories we have shared and look forward to many more with you and your beautiful family. Thank you for all your support through the years and in life's little moments!

Family

This family was so much fun to shoot, they were up for anything. I had a blast at this session! We could of spent an hour on the girls themselves! :) These two definitely not shy to the camera, they were ready and willing for anything with all their Sass.... you guys ROCKED! Can't wait to do it again.

Hope you enjoy your little sneak peek... I will have the rest to you next week!

A Little Coaxing

This little guy was not too sure about me hanging around or taking pictures of him. Having a two year old myself, I can surely attest to all the things you are willing to do to get your child to cooperate. After several attempts to coax a smile out of him with keys, cell phones and yes even a sucker; we finally decided to hit the playground... and it worked like a charm. He had a ball sliding with mom and dad. It didn't take long and he couldn't resist flashing me that little grin! And what a cutie, I think he would of stayed there all night playing if it weren't for the irresistible ice cream bribe!! :)

Rain Rain Go Away!

These two were troopers, huddled under awnings & umbrellas and trying to duck in and out of the rain what a day for pictures!! Not the most perfect situation for a photographer... (or my husband, the equipment and umbrella holder) :), but it sure set the romantic mood for these two. Just engaged and not bothered by the rain one bit, enjoying each other and the beautiful Japanese gardens who wouldn't be inspired to cuddle up with a few warm kisses. Congratulations Josh & Heather, may your future be filled with many more days of laughter and kisses in the rain!

It's Our Turn...

As you can see from this blog I have spent all of October and booked through November for family and children portraits... mostly for the holidays. So I thought while on vacation with my family why not take our family pictures! :) And having said that... let me just tell you I totally empathize with all you mothers out there that want that family picture and is determined to do it themselves. It is definitely worth it to have someone else do them even when you are a photographer! Totally excited to take our 1st family picture with the baby I have to say they did not turn out bad... We took our annual family trip to the coast and did them on the beach. Of course we picked the worst time of the day for lighting but nap time & lunchtime takes residence when you packing around kids!! :) I hope you all enjoy this little sneak peek into my life and hope you all have a great Halloween!

Happy Belated Birthday!

I have watched these two grow up since they were babies and I can't believe you are already 8 years old Cooper!! My how time flies when your having fun... and these two sure know how to have fun around their place! :) I hope you had a great birthday, enjoy your sneak peek... I will have the rest to you by the end of the week.

Trains, Planes &....

Lots of driven around! Jumping from place to place, you two did great. Even with a little visit of local law enforcement we managed to beat the sun and get all our locations in. These two were on the move our whole session... literally by Mr. Sam here (I would love to bottle up half the energy this little boy has!) he he! Miss Madison... love the hat and leopard print, so CUTE & your were such a great little model!

Thank you for being up for anything Amy... hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Meet Sophia & Braden...

So sweet and Soooo adorable.... these two really gave us a workout! Two bundles of energy, I don't think they stopped for more than a second the whole session. I've got to hand it to you Brandi. With mom right their running around trying to get there attention and pleading for them to sit still I just kept snapping away trying for that quick still moment. I know your glad it's over, but it was fun and your children are beautiful!

Sisters....

Thank you Mother Nature!!! Friday night racing against the rain, we managed to have an awesome shoot, no rain and perfect lighting... and I love the COLORS!!! Great job mom! I had fun girls, thanks for letting me try all the goofy stuff on you... I was cracking up while going through some of these. Here's a little peek, can't wait to show you the rest!

The Weaver's...

I have had the pleasure of knowing Jill since she was born... her family holds a special place in my heart and I am so happy I had a chance to get together with them and to have taken their pictures. As new parents these two are such a joy to watch with their new little bundle Dawson. Congratulations to you both, you have a beautiful family and I can't wait to watch it grow!

The Great Landini...

Meet little Landon or better known as the great Landini. Just turning 6 month old, this is one of the most photogenic kids I know. I don't know who was laughing more, him or us! I found myself not wanting to stop taking his picture. He's ADORABLE!!!
With his mouth constantly "WIDE" open and many times his tongue out... we stopped more times to wait for him to stop smiling than to try and get him to smile! I just can't help to smile myself when looking at these pictures.

Fall Teaser...

Ok, ok. I know it's a little early but I couldn't resist, I love fall and all the beautiful colors that come with it. Last week we went on our annual family camping trip and with two kids, not only did we pack the entire house for only 4 days but I also had to squeeze in outfits, hats, wagons ect. for pictures of course! (thank God for my loving & understanding husband). So after 4 days of playing in the sun & out on the boat I took my boys off to get in a little shoot time :). Hope you enjoy... Can't wait to start the fall season!

Matisyn

Welcome Miss Matisyn... It was a pleasure meeting and photographing you, can't wait to watch you grow through the years.

Finally a little girl....

Congratulations Stiern family, wishing you all the smiles and giggles your hearts can hold with your new little bug. Can't wait to meet her!

A Classic...

Just one of my father in laws pride and joys!!
A 1964 Corvette... she's a beauty, and fun to ride in too!

My Little Puddle Jumper

We woke up one morning to the sun shinning after it had been raining all night. It was a perfect opportunity to get out and jump in some puddles... and of course my 2 year old son loved this idea. Trying to jump higher and higher to make a bigger splash, he finally called it a day!!

A Generation of Love...

Ok, this one is very special to me. We have always talked about doing generation pictures and finally went through with it. Again it was a bit of a challenge with so many small ones and myself in some of the photos, but well worth the hard work and frustration.
My grandmother on my mothers side has been sick for quite sometime now. Even though the kids didn't want to cooperate we enjoyed every minute and will have a memory that will last a lifetime. My family has been my inspiration to capture all those silly little moments that seem to pass us by so quickly.
